The character/book i identify most with is The Seducer's Diary by Søren Kierkegaard because it's the most positive outlook I've ever read on philosophy. We of course recognize Johannes the Seducer and Victor Eremita as the author of The Seducer's Diary and the editor of Either/Or (which includes The Seducer's Diary), respectively. I'm trying my best not to laugh as I write this, but a grin still forces its way onto my lips. I want to illustrate this with a discussion of Baudrillard's reading of Soren Kierkegaard's Diary of the Seducer. Johannes, a young man of society, and an expert in seduction, is especially attracted to Cordelia. Very complex but coherent study of the mind of a person whose sole objective is to seduce, who exposes in his diary how he achieves seduction and how he frees himself from the object of seduction.
